Stingray Expedite is a boutique freight brokerage specializing in Sprinter Cargo Van deliveries (but open to all wheels). We pride ourselves on authenticity, agility, and personalized service. We’re growing and looking for motivated Freight Broker Agents to join our team under our MC/DOT authority.
Job Description
As a Freight Broker Agent, you will:
- Solicit and manage shipper accounts
- Negotiate rates and book loads with carriers
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company SOPs
- Maintain strong customer and carrier relationships
- Submit required documentation (rate confirmations, BOLs, PODs) promptly
This is a commission‑only role with uncapped earning potential. You’ll operate independently under Stingray Expedite’s authority, with back‑office and compliance support provided.
Compensation
- Commission split:
- Start at 50% of gross margin
- Increase up to 70% based on performance and KPIs
- Uncapped earnings — the more freight you move, the more you earn
- Example: If a load generates $200 margin, you earn $100 at 50% or $140 at 70%
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of freight brokerage or logistics experience
- Existing client portfolio
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet performance targets
- Familiarity with TMS and load boards a plus
